Overall we had a great time and I would recommend checking this place out if you want to see some nice falls and enjoy nature. While the best views, like the one in the photo above, require a bit of walking on uneven ground, you can still get nice views within about 25 feet of the large pull-off here. We scoffed at the assertion that a particular 3.5 mile trail would take 3 hours. I plan to come to the falls on a weekday near the end of July, probably mid day. Colton PointStatePark has a series of waterfalls at the bottom of Branch Fourmile Run. The entire area, in fact, is brimming with small waterfalls, flowing brooks, and slides. These twin waterfalls are both about 7-8 feet tall and sit only 50 feet from each other along Connell Run. Designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright, Fallingwater is now owned by the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy and open for tours (see their website for details). In fact, it'll take you 15 miles of driving on narrow forest roads just to reach the trailhead for the hike, and then another mile of hiking to reach the waterfall.
