FWIW, Ive asked several times when the mechanical 12-speed groups are coming and only getting radio silence, so Im guessing they simply dont want to spoil the surprise. Theres a limit as to how fast you can move the chain from one cog to the next and still have it engage the teeth properly, and the multi-shift (holding down the shifter to run up or down multiple cogs at a time) is already pushing that limit.
