Actor Peter Fonda tragically passed away on August 16 at the age of 79 after suffering respiratory failure due to lung cancer. In his 1998 book, Dont Tell Dad: A Memoir, Peter said his moms death was something that his forbidding figure father, who was remote and often away on set, lied about and subsequently ignored. Despite multiple hardships within their family, the Fondas found support and camaraderie among one another as time passed and managed to heal some wounds. Fonda died on August 16, 2019, at the age of 79 from respiratory failure which was caused by lung cancer. After being married to Henry Fonda for 13 years, Frances found herself part of a fraught existence. Fonda starred alongside Susan George and longtime-friend (and frequent co-star) Adam Roarke in the film Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry (1974), a film about two NASCAR hopefuls who execute a supermarket heist to finance their jump into big-time auto racing.
